Tax Audit Etiquette & Successful Auditor Management Ideas Please

My experience has taught me a few things when dealing with auditors:
1) Have everything ready for them on time and as promised. Make sure accounts are fully reconciled and the "PBC" (Prepared by Client) list is complete before they start field work unless you have another arrangement
2) If practicable, allow them to have a secured room (door that can be locked) to work from with access to a phone line, printer and internet.
3) Don't tell them one thing and do another. If you are not going to be ready, tell them as such. Honest and frank discussions are appreciated.
Good luck....
