Strong passwords are the key to data security

An artilce on FEI "Access Management Key to Info Security by Dave Pelland quotes "..stats from a Verizon breach report indicating nearly two-thirds (63 percent) of confirmed data breaches involve weak, default or stolen passwords..." How many characters are your passwords, are they mixed case, do you require numbers and special symbols? How long? My passwords are 16+ long making them exceedingly difficult to crack (and remember, unfortunately).
