Short Term Incentive

I was informed I would be getting a Short Term Incentive bonus in February 2016 for 2015 performance. In June 2016 they changed it to payable by 12/31/2016 and added I have to be employed at the time of the payout. This was a change to what was promised and earned by me. Is this legal and what are my options? I'm located in CT.
