It's time to examine other options. Data migration is just issues that you are facing.
You will want to take Sage at their word, as vendors will over-sell capabilites, so this clearly will not work with SAGE 50. You may want to look at NetSuite, or Intacct cloud offerings. Sage 50 is really a small and limited user group product. There are a number ov vendors whose products will better fit your circumstances.
Thanks for the info! I am stuck with the current solution for existing entities, but may look at another package to meet needs going forward.
Based on what you are wanting to do, I would go cloud either NetSuite or Intacct. I been using NS for 3.5 years and been very happy with the solution especially since I can handle users anywhere without dealing with all of the IT issues. For example, I moved our AP processing to India because I had more resource in India and NS was a perfect solution to send bills by email to them for processing.
The problem of suggesting a single vendor's product (or even a few) without understanding the entire scope of the business strategy, functional or technical requirements results in the following issue:
What works great for you, may not work great for them. Prior successes don't necessarily mean future results.
Only a properly conduct needs review, GAP analysis, review of potential systems and vendors/consultants (this is abbreviated) will yield (hopefully) the correct software solution.
