We have incurred a recruitment expense that is equivalent to a % of the candidate's annual salary. IF they leave for any reason during a one-year period (ie. are terminated or quit), the expense is not refunded but it is deferred to the next search so we would not be double charged. The employee in question started two weeks before the end of our fiscal year. Can we move the expense to prepaid and pro-rate over the course of a one-year employment term or does it have to be incurred in the year it was paid?
Recruitment Expense as prepaid

i believe it's depend on the value
if it is small value keep it expenses in the same year , if not small value it should be accounted correctly
