I have had positive experience with Trinet. I can introduce you to my contact Lesley Nygaard, GPHR, if you like. Hope this helps.
Anon, I may have someone in mind but without knowing the work parameters, I am not confident about the fit. Message me.
Hi Emerson - thanks for the response. We'd like someone to handle the HR function in our company, but we aren't large enough to hire someone full-time. They'd manage benefits, help write job descriptions, help recruit, assist a couple managers with annual reviews, maintain the handbook, handle new hire orientations or exit packages for terminating employees, provide advice on
Thank you Malak - my understanding is that Trinet is a professional employment organization that essentially makes our employees their employees. Do I have that right?
Anon, message me (go to my profile and click on message). I think the person I have in mind may be a good fit. Wait...East Bay of the Bay area yes?? If so, it will be perfect for her.
Total believer in the PEO solution for most companies under 50 EEs. Do not be scared of co-employment - just educate yourself on what it means. National association has good information here: http://www.napeo.org/peoindustry/coemployers.cfm
TriNet is great - especially on west coast - service center is in San Leandro, CA
Insperity is also good.
Full disclosure, I have worked for and hired both.
Best of luck.
JP - thank you for the info on TriNet and Insperity. We found a great HR consultant, but will keep PEO's in mind for the future.
I am interested in the name of an HR consultant to help streamline our onboarding process and refine our HR policies. We use TriNet, but we still have to do the onboarding ourselves. Does anyone have a recommendation for an HR person who could do this kind of work very part-time for a small business?
Thanks.
I know someone, contact me offline.
