Non-technical CPE courses?

The Oregon Society of CPA's says that we cannot list more than 16 hours of "non-technical" CPE per reporting period. Do you somehow identify non-technical CPE on your course listings or does it vary across the country? They specifically indicate the following: "Non-technical CPE may be identified as interpersonal management skills, public relations, practice development and administration."

They are typically identified in the listing and also on the certificate.

Dear Anon, it can vary by state. We do categorize each course using the NASBA list of course categories, but I would recommend checking with your state to accurately determine which category belongs in "technical" vs. "non-technical". We don't want to steer you wrong on this!
