An article on the FEI details some of the problems inherent in the murky contradictions between Federal and State laws.

I was approached to be the CFO of one ancillary service company to the industry. After conferring with my cousin, a Chief in the NY AG Office, I chose not to proceed. The slippery slope of what could cause the Feds to enforce the Schedule 1 prohibitions to Marijuana were too nebulous.
