Management reporting platform and hospital KPI

Hi all, I'd like to change the way we do reporting and is considering Qlik. Have you had experience with this company/platform? If yes, please advice me (quality, customer service, ease of use, price, features etc. or recommend some alternative. Also, can you suggest what good KPIs should be included in a hospital's management report. Thank you in advance

I think it really depends on how you're storing your data. Are you using a cloud-based accounting system (like Xero or Quickbooks Online)? If so, I would be inclined to lean towards a reporting system that allows you to link directly to your data, so you have real-time information. The big disadvantage for Qlik is that, depending on how your data is stored, you may need to manually upload files every time you want to check out what's going on with the data.
If you are on a cloud-based system, I'd recommend checking out PowerBI, Spotlight Reporting, Crunchboards or Fathom. They all link directly to cloud-based accounting sources and can produce real-time reporting and dashboards, which is much preferable to downloading and uploading a data file each time you want to run a report.

Thank you Susan! I'll see if they are ok. Our accounting, and ERP are all on premise, not cloud. So having real time data will be the next step. For now I focus on how to make reporting and report distribution more efficient, visual, drill-down, self reporting capable etc and less errors due to so complex linking and formular with excel.
