Use this as an opportunity to break out or segregate your "Accountant" roles/levels. Accountant 1 , 2, 3 or whatever you wish. Of course the paygrade follows the levels.

Depending on the size of the mortgage company I think Emerson offers a good suggestion. However, if the mortgage company has 3 accountants, now may not be the time to clarify roles for accountants 1, 2, 3, etc. Company size is important when considering titles such as these.
