What is your rationale for getting a CPA if you don't plan to work in finance? How would it add value to your

I think I wanted to get the CPA because I think that I have high understanding of accounting as a knowledge, however, I'm not into working in finace or accounting. My career path if I accept the new job offer will be contracts advisor. I'm actually still fresh graduate, I also would like to seek your advice if CPA might add value in other business areas.
My thoughts -
Having any advanced degree/certification regardless if you use it or not, will speak highly about you.
Taking the CPA exam will take tremendous effort. But it will be easier now for an individual with recent experience then opting later on.
Do you have a personality that does not look back or are you likely to say "I should have...."?

There are so many. Owning your own business comes to mind. Teaching will always be an option.
