Hi Nicole,
In case you missed it, this recent discussion here on Proformative had a lot of great food for thought related to your question.
Like you, I'd also like to hear more about accounting packages used for providing accounting services to multiple clients.
Enjoy!

Here is my analysis of some of the better cloud based options that my firm most frequently sees in use. http://rivescpa.co/update-on-cloud-accounting-apps/. All apps have their pros and cons and some are better for particular niches. Certainly there is a plethora of cloud based solutions and it can be a real challenge to settle on one product to support, so you have to consider the makeup of your clients and the applications that best fit their needs.
I think from the viewpoint of a firm supporting multiple clients with SaaS applications that you recommend, one of the larger concerns is stability and staying power of any particular solution. SaaS applications, like many things on the internet, can have a tendency to come and go and I believe we are at a stage in that market where you will see more apps closing up shop than you do new solutions hitting the market.
I should note that my review is written primarily for applications that fit the micro to small companies market. There are some very good higher end cloud solutions for companies with more complex needs and bigger budgets that I don't discuss in the article.
Nicole, another option is Intacct. I have been on a number of Webcasts with them and other SaaS service providers that integrate into their software. From all I have heard, they have a significant installed base of direct users and firms using the application for client services. I am waiting for a funding exercise to complete so that I can get them directly involved in my activities and accounting.

The AICPA recommends www.intacct.com + Bill.com
Xero software is for small businesses
Quickbooks online is very good if you know there are 7 key apps that you need to know about to handle subledger activity.
I support multiple non-profit clients with Fund Accounting 100 (formerly Sage Software MIP). It does true fund accounting and its G/L account segmentation capabilities allow for tight customization of the accounting package to the business information needs. Although the package isn't cloud-based, I create a cloud for my clients via terminal services and remote desktop protocol.
