Generally an accounting manager is responsible for team dynamics and at the same time ensuring that technical standards and data integrity of systems are maintained. They walk the fence between being a coach, teacher, compliance officer and parent for the team. They need an ability to absorb the stress on the team and reframe the team attitude and refocus on company goals.
